Analipsi, Hersonissos, on the north coast of Crete

Analipsi sits on the north coast of Crete, between Heraklion and Hersonissos. The beach is two hundred metres from us and the main road a little over a kilometre inland, so the rest of the island is always within reach.
The island from here
Between the mountains and the Cretan Sea, in Analipsi. The beach is two hundred metres from the gate and the airport half an hour away. Hersonissos is six kilometres off: far enough for quiet nights, close enough to drive in for dinner.
Getting here
From Heraklion airport
Nineteen kilometres, about twenty-five minutes on the coast road. Our own taxi can collect you at any hour. Or hire one of our own cars, waiting at the hotel: when you hire from us, the transfer to and from the hotel is free.
From the port
Twenty-two kilometres from the ferry terminal in Heraklion, along the same road. About half an hour.
By car
Leave the national road at Analipsi and follow the signs for the beach. Free parking on site.
By bus
The KTEL coast line stops in Analipsi and runs to Heraklion and Hersonissos throughout the day. The stop is on the main road, 1.3 km from us: about twenty minutes on foot, and uphill on the way back.
