Who we are
NOMAD is a hotel and restaurant in Gouves, Heraklion, Crete. Company name, registered address and VAT number to be added before launch. For anything about your data, write to [email protected].
What we collect
When you send the contact form we collect your name, email address, and anything else you choose to type: phone number, dates of stay, number of guests and your message. If you subscribe to the newsletter we collect your email address only.
Why we collect it
To answer your enquiry and, if you book, to hold your reservation. We use the legal basis of taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. Newsletter emails are sent on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for two years so we can recognise returning guests and settle any dispute. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.
Who else sees it
Nobody buys or receives your data for their own purposes. Our website host and our email provider process it on our behalf under contract. If your enquiry concerns a transfer, a car or a table at the restaurant, it is handled by the same family business.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or ask us to restrict processing. Write to [email protected] and we will answer within one month. You may also complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority.
Children
The site is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect their data. Guests under eighteen are booked by an adult.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of the page.
