Get married on the water

Crete does not need decorating. Black stone, olive trees, and the sea going orange at eight in the evening. That is already the setting, and it is the reason couples fly here to get married rather than doing it at home.

We host small ceremonies and dinners on the terrace and on the sand in front of it: two people, or a long table of forty. The restaurant is ours, the kitchen is ours, and on the night of a wedding the property belongs to you.

What we host

Ceremonies by the water
01

Ceremonies by the water

Vows on the terrace or on the sand, with the Cretan Sea behind you. The space is private, set back from the road, and takes up to forty guests seated.

Elopements for two
02

Elopements for two

Just the two of you. Ceremony, a local photographer, flowers and a table for two on the terrace afterwards. You do not need guests to make it count.

Private tables by the sea
03

Private tables by the sea

A long table set on the sand for a rehearsal dinner, an anniversary or the day after. Our kitchen cooks it, and the seafood comes from the boats that land here.

The whole property
04

The whole property

The rooms and the restaurant, taken together, so your people stay where the party is and nobody drives home.

Why here

  • The terrace faces open water, not a car park. No passers-by walking through your ceremony.
  • Our own kitchen and our own seafood restaurant, so the menu is not outsourced to a caterer who arrives at six.
  • Twelve kilometres from Heraklion airport, which matters when half the guests are flying in.
  • Our own taxis and car hire, so guests get collected instead of arranging transfers.
  • Rooms on site for the couple and the closest family, and more within walking distance.
  • We work with a wedding planner in Heraklion we have done many weddings with, and with local florists and photographers.
